Al Zadroga Winner of Three Rivers Open

Al Zadroga won the tournament by defeating Clyde Martz and Oscar Engle in a three-way playoff. The round robin competition ended with Engle losing to Zadroga, Martz losing to Engle, and Zadroga losing to Martz. In the final playoff game, Al was exceptionally sharp, defeating Martz 50-47 with 87.7% against 86.3% for Martz in 146 shoes. In one stretch of the game Martz had 53 out of 54 shoes but still was not able to turn the corner and put the game away.
