Clyde Martz
of Pittsburgh showed everyone how to fling horseshoes when he won seven
straight games with a percentage of 80.4% to capture the championship trophy in
the Spring Fling Open Horseshoe Tournament at the George Washington Junior High
School courts in New Castle, Pennsylvania, June 13-14 sponsored by the NCHC.
Opal
Corbett won the Ladies Division. She was also the tournament director.
