Clyde Martz – Winner of Mt. Pleasant, Pa., Fall Open
Clyde Martz won the Mt. Pleasant Fall Open losing only to Oscar Engle. In the last round Clyde got a big hand when Dale Carson of Baltimore defeated Engle in a very close game that eliminated a pending playoff game. Engle’s only other loss came at the hands of Al Zadroga. In this game, Al had the best performance of the afternoon – an 82.9%. Charles Semans and Pete Sowa wound up with a tie in Class B, both winning four and losing 1. Chuck then had a good play off game, defeating Pete 54-13 while throwing 75%.
