Pennsylvania Open Crown Won By Al Zadroga
Al Zadroga of Elizabeth, Pa defeated Jim Solomon and Clyde Martz in
the final rounds of a closely fought tournament to become the first champion of
an event that Pennsylvania hopes will become one of the major tournaments in
the United States. When he had to be,
Al was at his best, pitching solid 80% games in the last few rounds. He is truly the most remarkable champion
Pennsylvania has ever produced.
