Howard Shriver Wins November Red Mill Open
Howard Shriver of Wedestown, West Virginia captured the November Red Mill Open by going undefeated in the round robin and playoff series. Howard was particularly sharp in the playoff, averaging a solid 83.2% ringers for three games. Even with this blazing performance, Jim Solomon almost nipped him in the final game – the tournament being decided in this game. Sam Sutton also showed signs of his former self with the highest average of the event and the highest percentage game of the day – a 92% against Frank Kilinsky.
