Al Zadroga, Pennsylvania South Paw, Regains Allegheny Title

Albert Zadroga, the classy lefthander from Elizabeth, Pa., won the 1964 Allegheny County horseshoe crown by going undefeated in the Class A competition.  Zadroga appeared to be in serious trouble only once.  That was when Robert Werner, a newcomer from Pittsburgh, had Al 46-42, but just could not put the game away.  Clyde Martz was the runner-up, losing only to Zadroga.

Robert Gibson of Dormont won the Class B title by defeating Andrew Ponick in a one game pitch-off.  Class C was won by Robert Johnson with George Combs coming in second.  Joseph Rusiski captured the Class D title by defeating Michael Churley.
