Peters Comes Through Northwest PA Open Tournament With Flying Colors

 

          Joe Peters of Erie, Pennsylvania came through with flying colors to win the Northwest Pennsylvania Open Tournament held at Glenwood Park in Erie.  The meet represented 18 counties and seven cities.  It was necessary for Peters to win the playoff which he did in grand style, pitching 57 ringers out of 66 shoes, defeating Sebring 50-13 and an 86.3% game.  Bohun took 9 in a row to win Class B.
